Senior Pastor of West Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church

West Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church is situtated in the heart of Croydon. Filled with vibrant, impactful members inspired for the mission of Christ, we aim to effectively communicate the gospel of Christ through our community outreach programmes. The objective is to have Christ in our hearts, homes, streets, and our church so that we may all be prepared for the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

You will love it here!

What to Expect

Learn more about our values and our story as a church by visiting the Who We Are page.

At West Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church, our gatherings are warm, welcoming, and centered around worshiping God and growing in faith. We typically have a Sabbath service on Saturdays, which includes singing hymns, listening to sermons based on biblical teachings, and engaging in prayer and fellowship. Additionally, we often have midweek prayer meetings and various study groups to delve deeper into the Scriptures and strengthen our understanding of God’s Word.

When you visit, you can expect to be greeted by friendly faces who will make you feel welcome and comfortable. We encourage you to sign a guestbook or fill out a visitor’s card so that we can stay in touch with you and answer any questions you may have. During the service, you will have the opportunity to participate in the worship activities, and after the service, we usually have a time for refreshments and fellowship, where you can get to know members of the congregation.

You don’t need to bring anything specific when you visit. However, if you have a Bible, you may want to bring it along as we often refer to it during our worship services and study groups. Also, if you have children, you might consider bringing them to our Sabbath School program every Saturday & Children’s Church every 1st Saturday of the month, where they can engage in age-appropriate activities and learning.

There is no strict dress code. We believe in coming as you are and focusing on the heart rather than outward appearances. Some members may prefer to dress more formally, wearing business attire or dresses, while others might opt for casual clothing. The most important thing is to dress modestly and respectfully as we gather to worship together.

Absolutely! We encourage and welcome you to invite your family, friends, neighbours, or anyone else who might be interested in joining our church gatherings. Sharing your faith and inviting others to experience our community is a fundamental part of our beliefs. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their background or beliefs.

If we haven’t addressed your specific question or if you need more information, please feel free to reach out to us directly. You can contact our church office or ask a member of our congregation for assistance. We are here to help and provide any information you may need to feel comfortable and engaged within our community.
